Requirements
The significant growth and development of the company, both nationally and internationally, has led to the need to expand the available storage space. To address this, a new facility of over 50,000 square meters was rented in 2021 in Mesero, named Mesero2, to establish the Bi-Bloc pallet racking system. Sogedim’s requirement was to find a partner capable of supporting its vision for the future.
Our solutions
In 2021, Sogedim entrusted Dalmine LS to structure the new facility in Mesero, addressing both current and future logistical needs.
The first supply reached 39,000 pallet spaces on five loading levels (plus ground). Sogedim SpA’s need to double its storage capacity led to a second supply within a few months, totaling 60,000 pallet spaces, ensuring excellent logistical performance for its clients.
The structure, served by reach trucks, reaches a height of 12 meters and is entirely made of hot-dip galvanized Sendzimir steel.
