Dalmine LS has created a Shuttle shelving system for Pozzoli, the ideal partner in terms of high-profile and tailor-made packaging, from the Entertainment to the Cosmetics & Perfumery market, from Wine & Spirits to Fashion, through to Food. Pozzoli offers a complete service, from creativity to printing, from design to packaging, always following the values of quality, innovation and creativity. The company, based in Inzago (MI), now has three European sales offices in London, Munich and Paris, and more than 150 employees.

Requirements

Given the important and constant growth of the group, Nissan Italy has built a new spare parts warehouse located in Capena, in the province of Rome. It was crucial for Nissan Italy to find a partner who could support the company in setting up its new logistics department.

Our solutions

The new warehouse we have built in Inzago, at the main office just outside Milan, consists of a racking Shuttle Bi-Bloc and front and rear reach trucks. The structure allows storage of more than 2,500 pallets in 34 lanes and on 4 load levels. We have optimized the 1,000 square meters in plan thanks to the accumulation structure that reaches 20 pallets deep for each lane. The installation of this shutlle racking has brought a great added value to Pozzoli, which has always invested in innovation.
