Requirements

At Sesto Fiorentino site, in the province of Florence, it was essential to implement the storage capacity of the building, identifying a solution capable of ensuring the optimal conservation of the UDCs, facilitating the work of operators.

Our solutions

The winning solution, in collaboration with TGW Italia, was a multi-level Bi-Bloc shelving system built on top of a carpentry loft, reaching 3 levels above ground. The ground floor was dedicated to the reception of goods and quality control activities. Once this phase is over, the LUs are moved to various levels thanks to motorized tracks.  The storage aisles have been designed with holes in them to prevent the items from rubbing against the ground, which could damage them. In total, more than 135,000 UdCs are stored inside the structure, divided between hanging and lying down garments.
